Mobile Technology Is Moving Forward with the iPhone 5

Apple announced the upcoming iPhone 5 at their much-anticipated launch event today. With a larger screen (4 inches) featuring a retina display with 326 PPI and 1136 x 640 screen resolution, along with a slim design, the new phone is attractive on the outside – but those are far from the most important features.

With the new Apple A6 processor inside, the new iPhone 5 boasts doubled speed for web browsing and app use. A full-screen mode for Safari promises the mobile surfing will be even more rewarding for users. Apple has taken the time to upgrade the camera, too, with a new low-light mode and precision lens alignment that will let iPhone 5 users take better shots, even in dim settings.

The new iPhone will feature HSPA+, along with DC-HSDPA and LTE, all due to a combination of two chips – one for voice and data, and one radio chip paired up using Apple’s dynamic antenna.
Apple also announced the latest iOS update, coming September 19, which will help integrate iCloud into all Apple products.  It will also be adding Facebook integration to iTunes, which will take the App Store into the Social marketplace.

This is just another move forward for mobile technology. As the options for smartphones and tablets grow, more people are taking their social networks and shopping habits with them everywhere they go.
