Pet First Aid: Does your cat have a cough or did your dog get into something less than appetizing in the trash? Use this app as a reference guide to help you diagnose symptoms and provide instructions in emergency situations. It includes videos and step-by-step illustrations to guide you along the way. This app costs $3.99.
Fido Factor: If you’re thinking of taking your dogs along on vacation, this app will help you locate restaurants, shops and public places that allow dogs. It’s great for vacationing with your furry friend! This app is free and available for iPhone, iPod and iPad.
Pet Finder: Are you looking to adopt a new furry friend? This app allows you to search for your ideal companion, which brings up adoptable pet listings in your area, based on breed, age, gender, or size. This app is free!
Dog Tricks: Best of 101 Dog Tricks: Impress the guests at your next gathering with your pup by teaching him tricks with Dog Tricks. This app will give you step-by-step directions! There are so many to choose from that you won’t know whether to roll over, or sit up and beg. This app costs 99 cents.
PetSnap: If your pet doesn’t play to the camera when you’re trying to take a photo, this app can play more than 30 different sounds to attract your pet’s attention. It also takes several photos in sequence and allows you to add frames and share the photos on Facebook or Twitter. This app costs $1.99.
Petometer: This app lets you add up to six different dogs to your profile and track your walks by time, distance, pace, and route. It also gives you a list of recommended exercises for your furry friends and a history of your past routes. This app is free.
