Leading the Parade: Steve Ashley Speaks to Industry Leaders at Executive Summit

Market America’s Vice President of Mobile and Social Products, Steve Ashley, spoke to a group of industry experts last week at the Cross-Channel Retail Executive Summit – held by RIS News in San Antonio, TX. The conference brought together some of the top executives in the retail industry, who held high-level discussions related to the latest strategies and tactics they’ve have adopted to engage with consumers in the digital age.

Top companies such as Target, Oakley, and Buy.com sent delegates to speak at this exclusive gathering, offering their expert insight and analysis on various topics related to marketing, retailing and merchandizing. As the leaders of the social shopping revolution, SHOP.COM was well represented by our very own expert, Steve Ashley.

Steve spoke at length about the ways SHOP.COM and Market America have been able to effectively leverage our social media presence to help form stronger connections with our online audience. He also offered his insights into not only the proper way to build a social media department, but how to effectively execute social media campaigns that help build awareness for our brands while also helping our Shop Consultants and UnFranchise® Owners grow their businesses.

“Having the opportunity to speak to such a distinguished crowd was a true honor,” said Ashley. “The concepts discussed at this conference will have a profound impact on the industry, so it’s important that SHOP.COM’s voice is heard loud and clear. We’ve worked hard to become trendsetters in the industry, and I have every faith that SHOP.COM will continue to lead the social shopping revolution for years to come.”

As a social shopping company on the cutting edge of technology, staying on top of the latest social media trends is a vital component of our success. That’s why we’re so fortunate to have an industry leader like Steve Ashley at the helm of our social media department.
